SAS at the Westgate Mall

Yesterday, the Telegraph reported the presence of an "off-duty" member of the Special Air Service (SAS), the special forces of Great Britain, in Westgate Mall from the beginning of the attack and was carrying a gun.

Allegedly simply there to have coffee, is identity remains secret "for security reasons." When the militants stormed in, he became the center of the rescue effort:
The man, who is said to be from Britain’s Special Forces but cannot be identified for security reasons, had been drinking a coffee at the Westgate mall in Nairobi when militants stormed it on Saturday
He reportedly went back and forth between the building and the outside world around 12 times, helping people escape from the complex.
One picture showed him helping two women out, a gun tucked into his waistband.
The article continues and reveals that the SAS later became a part of the response to the attack:
On-duty Special Air Service soldiers were also at the scene last night, helping the Kenyan authorities in their final attempt to free the hostages.
The SAS appears to be very deeply involved in terrorism. Both the Sri Lankan Army and the Tamil Tigers, who fought from 1976 until the latter was defeated in 2009, were trained by an SAS front. Kroll Services, one of the major contractors providing security to the World Trade Center, has close ties to the MI6 and SAS, and reportedly were involved in their covert operations in Africa. These were aimed at destabilizing opposition to apartheid through Gladio-style terrorism similar to what happened in Nairobi only two days ago. The SAS were also caught dressing as Muslims and attempting to engineer terrorist bombings in Iraq.

Six months prior to this, 3,000 British troops had arrived in Kenya for military training. The Israelis also had a close relationship with Kenya and owned the mall. They then participated in the siege alongside the SAS. Barak Ravid of Haaretz called Kenya "Israel's forward base in Africa," and wrote:

Kenya has also been a customer of Israel Military Industries. Israel sold Kenya a considerable amount of weaponry, but beyond that, Israel has provided military know-how. Hundreds of Kenyan soldiers in recent years have received training in combating terrorism in Israel or were trained in Kenya by official or semi-official Israeli instructors.
Thee Israelis at the scene probably therefore had a lot of influence on the response during the siege. Furthermore, the owners of the mall were Israeli and Frank Lowy, who was one of the two businessmen who leased the World Trade Center for 99 years six weeks before the attacks, is according to rumour a director on the board of the company that owns Westgate Mall. I have yet to see firm evidence of this, however. Lowy is an Israeli intelligence asset and a friend of Rupert Murdoch, the conservative media mogul behind News Corporation (the second-largest - and until 2011, the largest - media outlet in the world). A notorious propagandist whose organization was recently revealed to have bribed police in England and tapped phones, Murdoch received an honorary knighthood by the Vatican in 1996 for his financial contributions to the church. Murdoch formed News Corporation six years after his afternoon tabloid moved into the United States in 1973. This was only a year after Murdoch, whose longtime business partner was connected with Nugan Hand Bank (a major CIA money laundry), had began a close relationship with Ted Shackley, the chief of the CIA station in Australia.

Given that the Americans, the British and the Israelis all had a strong shadow presence in Kenya at this time, and the fact that they share with it the aim of escalation in Somalia, does it not stand to reason that they would engineer an attack in an area where they all had considerable control?

Given the evidence that a British intelligence asset was commanding the attack, the "coincidental" presence of an armed, off-duty SAS agent, allegedly simply there for a coffee, is very interesting. MI6 is very active in Kenya and SAS was involved in the response. How much of this was a British operation?

Is it also simply coincidental that Tyler Hicks, a professional photojournalist for the New York Times, "happened to be close to the scene"?
